در زندگی روزمره بی‌وقفه از ضمیر “من” استفاده می‌کنیم، اما به محض ورود به شعر، عشق، یا تخیل، توجهمان به دوم و سوم شخص معطوف می‌شود. چرا از “من” غافل می‌شویم؟ شاید چون آن را نمی‌شناسیم. بسیاری از ما هرگز فرصتی برای مواجهه واقعی با “من” پیدا نمی‌کنیم. اما این آینه‌ای است که از طریق آن می‌توان “غیرِ من” را به درستی درک کرد.

In our daily lives, we constantly use the pronoun “I,” but as soon as we step into poetry, love, or imagination, our attention shifts to the second and third person. Why do we neglect the “I”? Perhaps because we do not truly know it. Many of us never have the opportunity for a genuine encounter with the “I.” Yet, it is a mirror through which we can truly understand the “non-I.”
