Story
I was born in Iran, and currently I reside in Istanbul.
My passion lies in calligraphy and drawing Persian and Arabic words and letters.

My journey into the world of letters began in my twenties as a student at a religious school. While memorizing the Quran, I found myself drawn to the parallel realms of philosophy and poetry. This mix sparked a deep passion for words — each one became a container of hidden meanings, waiting to be decoded and reimagined.
As a calligrapher, I challenge the traditional norms of Persian and Arabic scripts. For centuries, these letters were connected by strict rules; my work sets them free.I break down words into separate letters, removing traditional links while keeping their natural beauty and clarity. Here, every name or word becomes a visual statement — a mix of:
- Personal symbolism (drawing from my Iranian heritage and Istanbul’s multicultural mix),
- Philosophical inquiry (exploring the duality of form and void),
- Radical simplicity (where negative space speaks as loudly as ink).
