Name Design Workshop

I believe art can change lives and improve entire communities (and it can bring peace). Through this unique experience, I want to help you to discover, develop, and refine your skills in calligraphy.
You learn how to present one or more different artistic designs with your own style. In fact, in this 4-hour workshop, my goal as a teacher is not to teach you how to follow me, rather I want to show you the way I, myself, have taken to become a calligrapher.
My mission is to enlighten, and enrich your potential abilities and to teach you to have a different look at your own handwriting which is probably supposed to lack artistic aspects. I want to prove that you are an artist, who has his own style. You just need to take a small step which could be a giant leap for you.

What awaits the participant:

• Each participant draws his name about 50 times on 15 x 15 cm paper.
• The non-Persian-speaking participant gets to know how to write his name in the Farsi-Arabic script.
• A Kufi seal of the participant's name with my design and a 15x15 cm frame containing the participant's own name design is our gift to the participant.
